Farm Animal Vet House Calls

Prevention Is The Best Cure

Our goal is to provide everything you need all from one convenient place. That is why we are now focusing more on providing farm animal vet care.   Our hospital staff, we make sure that all of the animals on your farm are cared for to the best of our abilities. With our Quarterly or Semi-Annual healthy visit farm checks you can stay ahead of many of the common health challenges.

Prevention truly is the best cure. But what does this look like in farm animals? Vaccinations are sometimes one of the most effective, inexpensive and easiest ways we can care for animals. We often discuss and explain nutritional needs with people who own hobby or farm animals. Not everyone knows what you feed a goat differs from what you feed a cow or a horse. With the prevalence of issues like colic, it’s important to make sure they’re getting the nutrition they need to stay healthy. Vitamin deficiencies can vary depending on where you live and the quality of the soil. As important as their diet, an animal’s level of activity can contribute to their overall health, as well.

Some of the farm animals that we treat are:

  • Alpacas
  • Llamas
  • Pigs (Kune-kune, Pot-bellied)
  • Goats
  • Sheep
  • Poultry (Chicken, ducks & Turkey)
  • Fallow Deer
  • Exotic Birds (example: Rhea)
